A solid Stoneware and Ash grinder from Rosendahl’s RÅ (raw) range.
The grinder, perfect for Salt or Pepper, has been made in part using Thermo-Ash. Thermo-ash has been heated in a kiln to 212°C, which results in an extremely durable and stable piece of wood and gives it its rich, walnut brown colour.
Sometimes a product comes along and it just feels right. The look, the feel, the weight… I have totally fallen in love with these new mills from Rosendahl.
I don’t actually need new mills as my old Iittala ones which are no longer produced are still going strong but I am close to convincing myself that I need a pair of mills for the kitchen and another pair on the dining table to save all that kitchen/dining room seasoning palaver.
And they’d match my 1960s square Danish salad bowl perfectly so…
