Rivsalt Black

Rivsalt (grated salt) is a gastronomic experience and a new way of adding salt to food.

Whilst dining at a Japanese teppanyaki restaurant, Jens Sandringer realised that the process of adding salt could do with an injection of theatre.

The various rock salt refills allow you to change your salt’s colour and flavour without the need for multiple mills.

Rivsalt Black includes:
Kala Namak Salt from India – a shimmering black rock salt ideal for spicing Indian and asian dishes, or as a vegan substitute for the slightly sulphuric taste of eggs
