What’s the difference between ceramic and steel blades I hear you ask? Well, as a material, ceramic is twice as hard as steel and far more dense. This means that ceramic blades will stay sharper 10x longer than their steel counterparts and as they are chemically inert, they won’t brown foods when cutting or transfer odours between foods. Plus, ceramic is significantly lighter than steel and will never rust. All these properties combined make ceramic knives a long-lasting option for fine and repetitive cutting.
