Kartio Carafe – Linen

Iittala’s Kartio glassware is, like much of Kaj Franck’s work, the result of stripping back superfluous detail to leave on the essential.

“Kartio” is Finnish for “cone”, the form which is the genesis of the range.

In production since 1958 Kartio is extremely durable and a minimalist prototype for glassware in the second half of the twentieth century.
