Online Shopping

Is it in stock?

In general, if a product is on this website then we have it in stock. We endeavour to update the site on a 24 hour cycle however, on occasion a product may sell out during the 24 hour period during which your order was placed and may be temporarily unavailable. In this situation we will contact you to let you know when the item will be available (in most cases within 1-2 weeks). If the delay is too long for you we will cancel the order.

What do I do if I’m having trouble placing an order?

If you have trouble placing an online order or prefer not to, please call Make on 03 9347 4225 during business hours and a staff member will take your order. Alternatively, email us at info@makedesignedobjects.com and we will get back to you as soon as possible, or use the online chat feature if a staff member is available during store hours.

Is it safe to purchase online?

Make uses STRIPE, a secure, encrypted, online Internet gateway that securely submits your credit card for processing. No Make staff member has access to your credit card details. All online transactions are conducted through STRIPE. If you do not feel secure in using your credit card online, please call us on 03 9347 4225 and a staff member can process your order over the phone.

I didn’t receive an order confirmation, what should I do?

If you DID NOT receive an order confirmation please call Make on 03 9347 4225 during business hours to discuss this with a staff member. It is possible that you have just incorrectly entered your email address or your SPAM filter has blocked our message and the order has still gone through. Do not hit the submit button again. If there are any problems with payment, we will be in touch. But don’t worry; we will not take your payment multiple times. If you do accidentally process your order more than once, we will refund you and let you know.

I am sending a gift to a friend; will the invoice go to them too?

No, the invoice will go to the billing address; the gift will go to your friend. You can also choose gift wrapping and include a short message at checkout. We will write it for you on a small Make gift tag. If you have a long message, you will need to purchase a card from our range.

What about gift wrapping?

Gift wrapping is free! Just select your choice of wrapping colour at the checkout and we’ll use that colour with a patterned belly band.

What if I’ve changed my mind?

We want you to be one hundred percent happy with your purchase from Make. If, for whatever reason, you are unhappy with an item, including change of mind, you can return it for an exchange, store credit or a full refund provided the items are in the original packaging and are in saleable condition. In order to receive store credit from an item due to a change of mind, simply return the item within 14 days of purchase. The item must be in ‘as new’ condition, including packaging. You will be responsible for any shipping on change of mind exchanges or returns. We are always happy to exchange an item if the product and packaging is in an “as new” condition.

Delivery

How much is shipping?

Shipping is a flat $14.95 fee regardless of how many items you’ve ordered or where in Australia they’re going. It costs us more than that but we’re pretty nice so…

How is my order shipped?

We use Australia Post’s eParcel courier service which is a fully trackable door to door service. If there’s no-one home a card will be left and your delivery will be held at the nearest local post office.

When will my order arrive?

Whilst we endeavour to get all orders out of our shipping room within 24 hours this can sometimes take slightly longer during peak periods such as Christmas. Once collected by eParcel major cities are generally 1-2 days (Perth is at least four days) with rural and regional areas taking a couple of days longer.

I’m outside Australia – can I buy from Make?

Yes you can however we’ll need to quote you postage options before you place your order as the flat rate shipping within Australia doesn’t apply. If you’d like to place an order for delivery outside Australia please email us at info@makedesignedobjects.com with a list of the items you’d like and the address you’d like them sent to and we’ll get back to you as fast as we can with a quote.

Can I track my delivery?

Upon dispatch you will receive tracking details so you can check on your delivery as it hurtles towards you.

What do I do if my parcel is damaged on arrival or the item is incorrect?

Whilst we endeavour to pack all goods safely and securely occasionally accidents happen. In the event of receiving a faulty or broken item, please contact us immediately to discuss its replacement by either phoning 03 9347 4225 or emailing info@makedesignedobjects.com
