The brother of Karim Rashid, Hani Rashid is the co-founder (with Lise Ann Couture) of the highly awarded architecture and design firm Asymptote. In 2000 Rashid co-represented the United States at the American Pavillion at the Venice Biennale. In 2004 Asymptote was designated the architects of the 9th International Venice Biennale of Architecture and awarded the prestigious Frederick Kiesler Prize in recognition of outstanding contributions to the fields of art and architecture. In January 2007 Asymptote was awarded the Millennium Tower World Business Center (WBCB) in Busan, Korea through an international competition
