Working as a corporate lawyer and marketing strategist, Burton found herself looking for a hobby to relieve stress after suffering from a series of anxiety attacks. She started making beeswax candles, giving them away to family and friends, and soon started getting calls from friends of friends wanting to buy them. It wasn’t long before Queen B became a business. Cate’s range of Bee’s wax candles, are entirely made and resourced in Australia. She is equally motivated to produce non-toxic, environmentally sensitive products with strong design aesthetic.
