Brian Keaney (b. 1974) is an
Irish-born designer who lives in Finland. After graduating in Industrial Design
from the National College of Art and Design in 1996, he moved to Finland for
further studies at the University of Art and Design Helsinki.  He co-founded Tonfisk Design in 1999 with
Tony Alfström.  They launched Tonfisk
Design internationally in 2000 at the Ambiente Fair in Frankfurt.  Keany has since been awarded the Ilmari
Tapiovaara Award in 2007 and the Ornamo Design Prize.
