Astrid Sylwan (b. 1970) is a
Belgium born, Swedish painter.  She
creates large, colourful, abstract works. 
Sylwan trained at Konstfack – University College of Arts, Crafts and
Design, Stockholm between 1999 and 2005. 
She has since exhibited widely and won numerous awards, grants and
public commissions.  Her work has also
been commissioned by Marimekko and produced into prints, linen, ceramics and tableware.
