Arian Brekveld (b. 1968)
graduated from the Eindhoven Design Academy in 1995. He worked two years at Ontwerpwerk in The Hague, before establishing his Rotterdam own studio in1998.
Brekveld has worked for Royal VKB, Imperfect design, Droog and Hella
Jongerius. He regularly collaborates with JongeriusLab, designing everything from small
handcrafted objects to complex industrial designs like the airplane seats for
KLM. Brekveld’s designs belong to many
collections including: Moma, Viitra Design Musum, Centraal Museum Utrecht,
Boijmans van Beuningen, and the Stedelijk Museum.
