Italian designer, Antonio Citterio (b.1950) started his design office in 1972. He studied Architecture at Milan Polytechnic and graduated in 1975. From 1987 to 1996 he collaborated with Terry Dwan, creating buildings in Europe and Japan. In 1999 he founded “Antonio Citterio and Partners” with Patricia Viel. Citterio has been working in the industrial design sector, producing designs for B&B Iitalia, Kartell, Vitra, Flexform, Flos, Iittala and others. With Glen Oliver Low he designed Iittala’s Tools range of kitchenware (originally a Hackman product) and the Mobil storage system for Kartell which won them the Compasso d’Oro Prize.
