
Aino-Maija Metsola is a Finnish illustrator and designer. She studied graphic design at the University of Art and Design Helsinki. In 2005 she took part in a design competition organized by Marimekko which resulted in her print Mokki, being used by Marimekko in their interior collection. With a love for hands-on work she crafts images with a range of techniques including watercolour, ink, markers and gouache. Her wide range of work covers prints and illustrations for textiles, clothes, stationery and tableware. She created the Weather diary collection for Marimekko released in 2014.
