Fiskars was founded in 1649 in the booming era of the Finnish iron industry. Today Fiskars is one of the oldest businesses in the western world.  Fiskars is most well know for manufacturing the world’s first ergonomic plastic handled scissors in 1967. Today the company designs and manufactures a large range of household and outdoor use products.
